Could You Befriend An Enemy?

In a world where people are divided and turn against each other based on differences, defending ourselves and counterattacking might seem natural. But what if that’s not the only way? Darryl Davis, an African-American man, explores the depths of racism. Going beyond sociologic theory, he interviews Klu Klux Klan members and actually befriends some of them.

He proves that bringing compassion and understanding to those we oppose can deescalate and even disperse antagonism. People’s hearts and minds can slowly evolve toward peace, love and compassion.

Footage of this incredible man daring to do what seems impossible will open your mind and inspire you to see all that we have in common as human beings. Imagine what the world can look like–feel like–when we view each other as companions. Share this video to spread the love!

Heart Break or Lucky Escape?

Sometimes what seems like the biggest deal in the world is really just a matter of perspective. Heart break, no doubt, can be absolutely crushing. It’s so easy to only see what’s right in front of us, which can consume our consciousness and negate opportunity, love, and the utter vastness of this world.

This short video will give you a little wake up–a way to really see the significance and size of your problems in a new way. Get ready for an out of this world trip and a perspective like no other. Click this link whenever you feel an impending downward spiral and need a boost!

Before You Break Up, Watch This

When people fall in love and form a commitment, a two-way street of love and communication opens between them. The catch is that everyone receives and gives love differently. And when people’s styles differ, this two-way street can be more like two parallel one-way streets–never meeting, and always shrouded in mystery and frustration.

Take the couple in this video, for example. Each tries to show the other affection, yet each feels unattended to. Without communicating or understanding each other’s love languages, they will persistently feel like the other person isn’t interested (which really isn’t true!). All kinds of anxiety and resentment and wondering ensue.

Once he figures out that she just wants time and supportive words and once she learns that he just wants physical tokens of appreciation, they can finally express their love in a way that is received.

So before you jump to conclusions, communicate with and explore each other and you’ll hopefully find yourself on the same, blissful street.

The inspiration for the video comes from the book the 5 love languages.

Watch and share with other couples!

What Love Looks Like When it Works

Oh relationships. They can be a source of so many twisting and turning emotions. But we are attracted to love so much because of the potential for how it can feel and what it can be. Love can transform whole worlds. Two people coming together can create this feeling of wholeness, impenetrable by the daily worries that usually seem to take hold of us.

Then there’s the flipside: we’ve probably all felt the disappointment, the heartbreak, that comes within human relationships; however, especially if you’ve begun to lose hope, this video by Jason Silva, with it’s touching words and images, can restore your view of the power of loving relationships.

Share the link to remind others too the way love can bring so much peace to the world!

LOVE TRAIN

“You're waiting for a train. A train that will take you far away. You know where you hope this train will take you, but you can't know for sure. Yet it doesn't matter.." Why? Because you'll be together. Thanks Jason Silva

What Happens When We Stop Putting People In Boxes?

When we look around at other people, we tend to be naturally drawn to people like us. Conversely, we may be repelled by certain types of people who seem very unlike us. But humans are complex, so how can we really know who someone is just by looking at their clothes, skin color, or size? If we do put people in boxes and assign them labels based on how they look, we will surely miss all that lies beneath. And we will never know if there is a loving, life-changing connection waiting to be made.

The truth is that we all have things–interests, values, experiences, personality–in common, and often more than you would think. Why put limits on our self and others? We have so much to offer and learn from each other.

Watch what happens in this video when people begin to move past some of these barriers. Don’t forget to share this post to remind other to see the connection between us all!
